RIAI EDUCATION TASKFORCE

Programme Chair for Architecture, Bernadette Donohoe has been nominated by the RIAI Council and Board of Education to be part of a National RIAI Education Taskforce that will review the current standard for Architecture Education ( RIAI Standard of Knowledge Skill and Competence for Practice as an Architect ) and develop a new Standard for Ireland.  The task force will be made up of 9 members and Bernadette is one of two members who are involved in the delivery of architectural education for an RIAI programme.

RIAI Council has recommended that the taskforce convene every four weeks in 2023 with a view to producing a new Standard by December 2023. The taskforce will be publicly announced as soon as all those nominated have accepted.  Bernadette is delighted to be nominated and to have the opportunity to be involved in the formulation of policy and strategy for architecture education at a national level.
