Begin Again

31-year-old female from Donegal. I embarked on this journey because all I ever wanted to be was a writer. This program wasn’t in existence when I did my Leaving Cert. I spent a few years studying psychology but dropped out. I traveled and lived abroad. Still, I always felt unsettled and hungry to study and build a career around Writing and Literature. When I discovered this program in 2019, I knew I had to enroll myself in it. Spending three years in Sligo surrounded by wonderful talented lecturers has been one of the most wholesome things I’ve done. I am currently working on a novel and I’m hoping to build a career in Journalism.
