When I came to study at IT Sligo/ATU from Canada, I had no idea what to expect. Coming from a musical theatre background, I hadn’t delved much into the world of straight theatre, but after this past year, I feel I am more prepared than ever to pursue any type of theatre I want. It’s strange how fast the time here has gone, I feel like it all happened in a matter of days, not months. This truly was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I will never forget the things I’ve learned, the friends I’ve made, and the countless ways I’ve grown, both as a person and a performer. Whatever the real world has to offer me from hereon out, I know I will be ready, thanks to all the lovely people I have met along my journey.
