Huge congratulations to Karen Keaney!

We’re delighted to share that Karen Keaneys design for the Batchelors Building has been shortlisted for the World Architecture Student Awards in Japan!

This is one of the largest international student competitions, promoted through Arch Daily and attracting thousands of students world wide – last year there were over 25000 entries.

We are all so proud of Karen who continues to study with us in the add-on year pursuing her Honours degree

Karen is an outstanding student, and we are all familiar with her talent, work ethic and passion. For Karen to have a chance to showcase this on the world stage is absolutely amazing, and we are delighted that our programme and the heritage of Sligo town will be part of this.

The winners will be announced later this year, and we keep our fingers crossed!
