IDI GRADUATE AWARDS 2022

This year two Interior Architecture and Design students have been shortlisted for the IDI graduate Awards: Ibtisam Dhafer, BA(Hons) in IAD graduate; and Karen Keaney BA in IAD graduate.

Karen has been commended in the Interior Design category, and her graduate project for re-use of the Batchelor’s Building in Finisklin has also been shortlisted in the Architecture category.

Ibtisam has been shortlisted with her design for Al Falisaliyah Centre in Riyadh.

Karen and Ibtisam attended the awards ceremony in TU Dublin, pictured with their lecturer Masa Ruane Bratusa.

This year’s IDI Graduate Award recognitions are IAD students’ third in a row. In 2021 Carmen Chok was commended and Yi Jing Chok shortlisted for IDI Graduate Award for Interior Design; in 2020 Jasmine Lee won the IDI Graduate Award with her vision for re-use of Sligo Gaol.
